374 Hits this week! & My "Ferocious" er Gentle Giant Dog

Since installing my counter last week we have had a whopping 374 hits this week. I feel like dancing in the streets singing "They like me, they really really like me!".

Pretty gosh darn neat if you ask me.

And on to what might just be the funniest picture that I have ever taken. I have 2 puppies, Muddy & Autumn. Muddy is a huge beast of a dog. Newfoundlander/Chow Chow/German Shepherd Cross. She is well over the 100 pound mark. When people see her in the bush they run the other way screaming "Bear" (that is a completely different story and makes me scratch my head in serious wonder, but nonetheless is has happened on numerous occasions).

And well we also have a bunny. Grandpaw Gordie is his name, and apparently he truly embodies the spirit on Grandpaw Gordie.

I'll Call this Series of Photos: "Aint Nobody Gonna Hold Me Down"

Hey You, Yeah You, Get off of me!

"So you think you're tough or something?"

"The Bigger They Are the Harder They Fall"
Grandpaw Gordie is victorious!

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Help Me Choose the Winning Entry!

I have a love, love, love relationship with Ladybugs & Lullabies no slip Hair Bows. The clips are amazing quality, and very reasonably priced. The girls love them and truthfully so do I as I have one that I wear as well.

If you're in the market for the cutest bows imaginable check out Ladybugs & Lullabies

They currently are running a photo contest and I was hoping to enter the girls. They love their bows and love showing them off (ps... Tala is wearing a brand new 99c Ebay find in the pics!).

Here are the selections. Please reply with your pick! All replies received will be entered in a contest to win a bow of your very own (as selected by Miss Tala). I will accept entries up until Sunday, June 29, 2008 at which time I will draw a winner.

I don't wanna grow up...

I'm a toys r us kid... lol. I love summer! Its one of the few times that Mum's & Dad's can be kids again. Anyone who tells you that they don't have fun tearing through the playground with their kids, and splashing around in the pool, having water fights and eating watermelon with the kiddos is lying.

Its late, but I wanted to share some new pictures of the girls having fun in the sun. Tomorrow is the first day that I've had off of daycare in forever. I'm hoping that the girls will let me sleep in... lol... so maybe by 7:30 or so I'll drag myself out of bed searching for coffee.

Here's Malie blowing bubbles (so glad that the Parent & Tot swimming class wasn't a complete bust... but honestly never again! We had much more fun splashing around the pool on our own. Miss Tala will do Minnows 1 in the fall though. So proud of that!)
And one last picture. Miss Tala... she's totally into metaphors right now. One of her faves is "Cold like a popsicle". Which she was when this picture was taken. Silly Goose!

Hope that you guys are all out enjoying the sunshine. We've been busy, but its a great kind of busy. I seem to function so much better with a million things to do.

Feeling Very Overly Sentimental Right Now...

My baby isn't a baby anymore and I'm not quite sure when it happened. It seems like one minute she was just born coming home from the hospital and the next she's an extremely active 2 year old. When on earth did that happen? And while I'm sad that my baby isn't a baby anymore it is amazing to watch her grow up. She keeps me on my toes, and boy oh boy can that girl talk! A couple times of the day I hear her gabbing away and I turn around to check and see which one is talking. She is so clear in what she says and what she wants.

I've said it before and I'll sure I'll say it everyday for the next 18 years, but what on earth was I thinking teaching these girls to think for themselves and reason! Miss Tala is sure to be a lawyer when she grows up with the way she barters and (quite frequently) wins arguments. Her little sister just thinks that Tala is the greatest thing in the world and tries to be just like her... which sometimes is more then Tala can take... but she is getting better about it. After all they are sisters and (well) they're stuck with each other! I know that there were many times growing up that me and my brother were ready to sell each other, and well I have to say as an adult he's a pretty cool person.

I am absolutely ecstatic that I've managed to save up $78 in Chapter's Giftcards for Christmas. I have my eye on a big ticket item for the girls' big present. I'll be watching and seeing if the price comes down at all and when it does I'll be here to swoop in and get it ordered. The only issue I can see is that I'm horrible at keeping secrets, and how on earth am I to keep such a wonderful gift from the girls for potentially months? Egad! Must stay strong.. must not cave in.

Cheers!

Exciting News!

No, I'm not having another baby, its even better then that... lol. I've been chosen to be part of a Word of Mouth Campaign through Matchstick. I will be receiving a Microsoft Zune and I am charged with the responsibility of gabbing about it to everyone I know. All of you who know me are probably shaking her heads and saying something along the lines of "when doesn't she gab our ears off about new products?". Well true enough. I do love to talk (infact I've been told that I rarely stop talking). But it is beneficial to all of you as well. I save you time and money by telling you which products are awesomely amazing and which ones to avoid.

Anyway, I just couldn't wait to share this wonderful news with all of you. I am so excited to be a part of this marketing campaign. I haven't stopped talking about the Zune since I found out yesterday afternoon... I'm sure a couple of you can attest to that as you received excited phone calls from me.

Matchstick has had an amazing series of campaigns as of late. Kudos to them. I've always been a huge fan of word of mouth and have been a bzzagent for a couple years now. Unfortunately, bzzagent campaigns have been few and far between as of late, I guess that's because Matchstick is expanding so rapidly. I only wish that I had qualified for the Splenda campaign... lol. I would have been in absolute Splenda heaven!

I cannot wait for my package to arrive and start telling all of you about the awesomeness of it all. I've been a diehard ipod fan for awhile but truth be told the quality just isn't there. I'm so tired of the short battery life and the oh to frequent catastrophic error that magically fixes itself when I plug it into the computer. I am happy that there's a new player (total pun intended) on the block.

Cheers!

Upper Canada Products - I'm in Love!

Well everyone who knows me is in the know of how much I am a Spice Girl... no not a horrible flash back to the 90's Spice Girl, but a oh my goodness I have to have everything scented like some Spice or another. Well you'll be happy to hear that I've finally found the most amazingly scented Peppermint products for your tired feet and aching legs.

I present to you Upper Canada! http://www.uppercanadasoap.com/product_list.php?top_cat_id=56&sub_cat_id=63

I strongly urge you to pick up these products.. and as an added bonus the Peppermint Foot Therapy works wonders on extremely dry chapped hands. One application and my hands were soothed, and all the yuckies (highly technical term for cracked bleeding skin) were looking 100% better. 3 days later and you can't even tell that my hands were so painful I couldn't even wash dishes (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!).

Go for it girls, you deserve it!

One note, the bottle states that the products are not for use by diabetics... just a heads up!

Cheers,
Jaime

Update on the Coolest Keychain Watch ever!

Well the keychain watches that I ordered from artscow arrived just in time for Father's Day and they are absolutely amazing! For the regular price of $9.99 plus shipping they're steal, but for $6.88 including shipping you've gotta check out the quality for yourself!

http://www.artscow.com/default.aspx?Ref=362776

I will upload a picture of them tomorrow.. but with all honesty they rock! I was worried they'd be flimsy and would break easily. They're very sturdy and a good weight to boot. And well it definitely helps that I had 2 of the most amazing models in the world as subjects.

Head over there and get in on the great deals while you can!
